MiniFile MiniFile is a device driver for Windows 2000 or later that creates a virtual 128MB disk drive. The data for this disk drive is placed in the file c:\vdisk.dat. The device driver follows the SCSI miniport model and supports plug and play, dynamic load/unload, and 32-bit/64-bit Windows. MiniFile can be installed either programmatically or using the Add Hardware wizard. The source code can be obtained from www.perisoft.net/miniport. Install Run hdwwiz.exe (or hdwwiz.cpl for Windows 2000 or XP) and follow the wizard. If you are running Vista or later, skip the first two steps:
Windows 2000 only: if you are prompted to assign resources, select cancel and installation will complete. Uninstall Start device manager, select the MiniFile Adapter, and press the delete key.
